I'm Caleb. I build things, and I've been burned.
I'm 50 years old and have worked in the general construction trades most of my working life, the last 10 years straight, doing all my own work. I frame, I do concrete, and over the last two years I've learned finish carpentry.
Family
About five and a half years ago I moved my family from Oregon to Oklahoma City.
My wife and I have been married ten years, and we have three sons. She's an ICU nurse now. We put her through school to become an RN with no childcare and no government assistance. That took both of us.
How I got into crypto
I started paying attention to crypto after I heard Donald Trump talk about it before he was elected. My approach to money comes down to one line:

What it cost me
I've lost over $12,000 to crypto scams. I'm putting that number right here because it's the reason this site exists. If someone who builds for a living and does all his own work can get taken, anybody can. That's why every guide here starts with keeping your money before it talks about growing it.

Why I started Blue Collar Crypto
A lot of working people are either unaware of how money is changing or have been told the wrong things about it. I want to help folks like us hold on to what we earn and learn to make it work for us in the new financial system that's coming.
I'm also building more than one income stream for my family and my sons' future, and this site is one of them. Some links here may earn a commission, and I'll always label them.
I believe the way money works is changing. That's my conviction, not a promise. Nobody can tell you where crypto prices are headed, and I'm not going to pretend I can.
How I run this site
- Plain English, with sources, mostly government sources like the FBI, FTC, and IRS.
- I don't tell anybody what to buy or when. This is education, not financial advice.
- I never take money to promote a coin or token.
- Any link that pays me is labeled. The disclosure page explains how that works.
